The School of Creative Writing welcomes cartoonist and educator Sarah Leavitt to its faculty as an assistant professor specializing in graphic forms. Leavitt is the School’s first tenure-track faculty member in this genre.
Agness, Murderess, Awards Winner!
Congratulations to Lecturer Sarah Leavitt, whose most recent graphic novel Agness, Murderess, has been scooping up nominations and awards this season. Winner of the Speculative Fiction Award from the Alberta Book Publishing Awards and shortlisted in the Best Cartoonist Category of the Joe Shuster Awards from the Canadian Comic Book Awards Association.
