The School of Creative Writing at UBC Point Grey is located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) people. We thank the Musqueam Nation for its hospitality and support of our work.
A student-focused program, we combine the best of traditional workshop and leading-edge pedagogy. Our literary cross-training offers opportunities in a broad range of genres including fiction, poetry, screenplay, podcasting, video game writing and graphic novel.
We strive to create a dynamic and inclusive environment that encourages artistic experimentation and community building. We’re extremely proud of the national and international literary achievements of our many graduates, as well as their generous contributions to the greater creative community.
