Are you working on a large comics project – a book, series, webcomic, etc? Do you wish you had a large group of peers to check in with for support, encouragement and info-sharing?
In April, Sarah Leavitt, assistant professor of graphic forms, started a pilot group of alumni to do exactly this, and they’ve been meeting monthly on Zoom since then, with anywhere from five to 10 people each time (plus assorted cats and dogs).
The group is excited to welcome new members of interested UBC Creative Writing students, alumni, faculty and staff.
