MFA alum Benjamin Wood’s novel “Seascraper” was recently longlisted for the Booker Prize. “Seascraper” is Wood’s fifth novel.

Dora Prieto and Jess Goldman were named the winners of this year’s $10,000 RBC Bronwen Wallace Award for emerging Canadian writers. Prieto won the poetry prize and Goldman won the short fiction prize.
