Creative Writing faculty and alumni awarded BC and Yukon Book Prizes

Please join us in congratulating members of the UBC Creative Writing community who won or were nominated for 2025 BC and Yukon Book Prizes.

The BC and Yukon Book Prizes celebrate the outstanding work that is written, illustrated and published in the region. Prizes are awarded annually to recognize the achievements of BC and Yukon authors, illustrators, and publishers. Award winners are selected through a juried system, with five finalists in each prize category, including the winner selected in each prize category.
