Thommy Hutson is an award-winning screenwriter, producer, author, and creative development professional who has written and produced film and television projects in multiple genres—horror, thriller, holiday, drama, animation, and documentary—that have aired on Netflix, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, Lifetime, Hulu, Bio Channel, Starz, Syfy, AMC/Shudder, and more. He and his work have been featured in Entertainment Weekly, Filmmaker Magazine, Deadline, and Fangoria, among others, and he’s been honoured with a Saturn Award, Home Media Magazine’s Reaper Award, a BookFest Gold Medal, an International Book Awards Gold Medal, and a Readers’ Favorite Gold Medal.

A member of the Producers Guild of America, The Writers’ Union of Canada, and Horror Writers Association, Thommy received his B.A. in Communication Studies at UCLA and M.F.A. in Creative Writing from UBC. He is an aficionado of horror and teen movies from the 80s & 90s, a devotee of Christmas films, and an avid collector of movie tie-in novelizations.
