A hands-on session for poets, cartoonists or any CRWR students interested in making booklets of their work!

We’re thrilled to welcome cartoonist, illustrator, author of middle grade graphic novels and werewolf enthusiast Kathleen Gros to campus. Kathleen will lead us in this lovely, material session. Come along and make a chapbook with us.

Speaker Biography

Kathleen Gros is a cartoonist living in Vancouver, BC. She is the creator of the graphic novels Anne: An Adaptation of Anne of Green Gables (Sort Of), Jo: An Adaptation of Little Women (Sort Of), and Last Night at Wyrmwood High. She is the current President of the charitable organization and publisher Cloudscape Comics. She graduated with a BFA in Illustration from Emily Carr University of Art and Design, and she teaches in the Comix and Graphic Novels Continuing Studies program at Langara College.
