Join us for a celebration of new and recent books by faculty and alumni in the School of Creative Writing! Whitney French, Anosh Irani, Tanya Kyi, and Mallory Tater join recent alum Emily Chou to share the creative process behind their work.
Emily Chou is celebrating the forthcoming publication for her YA graphic novel On Your Way.
Come discover the messiness of process and the invisible work of writing. Join us in the Dodson Room, Irving K. Barber Learning Centre (Room 302) on September 23 (Wednesday) from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
Emily Chou is a writer/cartoonist from stolen xʷməθkʷəy ̓ əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, and səlilwətaɬ territory. She has an MFA in Creative Writing from UBC and publications in Room, Geist, Chinatown Today, and various other magazines and anthologies. She has lived in the UK, Japan, and Italy and can recommend snacks in all three.
