Doug Savage is a cartoonist and the creator of Laser Moose and Rabbit Boy, a series of graphic novels for all ages, about a moose who shoots lasers out of his eyes and his cheerful rabbit sidekick. The fifth book in the series, Spidermania, was published in April 2025 by Andrews McMeel Publishing (publisher of Calvin & Hobbes, Big Nate, and more).

Doug also draws one of the longest-running internet comics, Savage Chickens, which he has been drawing (on post-it notes) and publishing every weekday since 2005. His comics have appeared in books and magazines around the world, and have been published in collections by Penguin USA and GoComics.com.
