Alynna Wynter (A.W.) Hopkins
About
Alynna Wynter Hopkins (A.W.) is a writer and filmmaker based in Vancouver. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Simon Fraser University and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia. Her feature film Indian Road Trip won Best BC Director at the Whistler Film Festival. Her short films have been screened nationally and internationally. Her short story collection will be published by Penguin Random House early in 2027. Alynna is a member of N’Quatqua First Nation and is grateful to reside on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ílwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
