A.W. Hopkins is a member of the N’Quatqua First Nation. He is an award winning writer and director. He has a Bachelor of Arts with a Communications Major and an MFA in Creative Writing focusing on Writing For The Screen. A.W attended the Canadian Film Centre, Norman Jewison Directors’ Lab 2020. He is a member of the Directors Guild of Canada. His first feature film “Indian Road Trip” won Best Director at the Whistler Film Festival. His short films have played nationally and internationally.
