Congratulations to new MFA Jay Hosking, who’s just sold his debut novel Three Years with the Rat, “a dark and mysterious novel about a young man’s search for his sister and best friend, two scientists who had disappeared, leaving behind a wooden box, a lab rat and a note saying: “this is the only way back for us”.” The novel will be published by the Hamish Hamilton imprint in August 2016.
