Congratulations to Eden Robinson, Creative Writing MFA Alumna, for being shortlisted for the 2017 Giller Prize for her novel Son of a Trickster. Eden, a Haisla/Heiltsuk writer, lives in Kitimaat, BC. This her second nomination for the Giller: her novel, Monkey Beach, was shortlisted in 2000. The Giller Prize is Canada’s largest literary award, at $100,000. The winner will be announced November 20, 2017.
