A casual monthly movie gathering at UBC curated by Nalo Hopkinson and Whitney French launches its second film Neptune Frost on Friday, November 28 at 2:00 pm in the Buchanan Tower, Room 225.
There will be free popcorn and drinks and all are welcome.
About Neptune Frost: In the hilltops of Burundi a group of escaped coltan miners form an anti-colonialist computer hacker collective. From their camp in an otherworldly e-waste dump, they attempt a takeover of the authoritarian regime exploiting the region’s natural resources — and its people. It’s also a musical.
