 e Simpson is a renowned Michi Saagiig Nishnaabeg scholar\, writer and artis
 t\, who has been widely recognized as one of the most compelling Indigenous
  voices of her generation. Her work breaks open the intersections between p
 olitics\,  story and song—bringing audiences into a rich and layered world

 Canisia Lubrin is the author of three books: </span><i><span style="font-we
 ight: 400\;">Voodoo Hypothesis</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400\;">\
 , </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400\;">The Dyzgraph</span></i><i><spa
 n style="font-weight: 400\;">x</span></i><i><span style="font-weight: 400\;
 ">st</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400\;"> and </span><i><span style=
 "font-weight: 400\;">Code Noir</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400\;"> 
 (Knopf 2024). Her honours include a 2021 Windham-Campbell Prize\, OCM Bocas
  Prize for Caribbean Literature\, Griffin Poetry Prize\, and Derek Walcott 
 Prize. Lubrin has held fellowships at Civitella Ranieri\, Literature Colloq
 uium Berlin\, and the Banff Centre. She is Asst. Professor and the coordina
 tor of the University of Guelph Creative Writing MFA in the School of Engli
 sh & Theatre Studies. She is poetry editor at McClelland & Stewart/PRH. </s

 ng></p><p><span style="font-weight: 400\;"> Junie Désil is a poet. Born of 
 immigrant (Haitian) parents on the Traditional Territories of the Kanien’ke
 há:ka in the island known as Tiohtià:ke (Montréal)\, raised in Treaty 1 Ter
 ritory (Winnipeg). Junie’s debut poetry collection Eat Salt|Gaze at the Oce
 an (TalonBooks\, 2020) was a finalist for the Dorothy Livesay Poetry Prize.
  Junie currently lives on the traditional territories of the Homalco\, Tla'
 amin and Klahoose where she is currently working on a forthcoming poetry co
