A genre-bending work that swoops from fiction into nonfiction (or vice versa, depending on how a reader picks up the book), Catherine Lacey’s The Möbius Book is a dizzying, stinging, and often tender exploration on how the self is built and eroded in relation to others. Half taut novella, half peripatetic documentation of a relationship’s end, the book is at once formally disorienting and sure-footed, intimate and beguiling.

Join Lacey for a reading and conversation with Suzannah Showler about how stories shift as they’re told and retold, and how to write about and beyond the self.

This event is open to everyone. Register to receive the Zoom meeting link.
