No other writing program in the world offers as many genres of writing instruction. Students can currently study in eleven separate genres, and with our ‘cross training’ philosophy, are required to study in at least three during the course of their MFA.
We offer fiction, non-fiction, poetry, writing for children, screenwriting, writing for the stage, translation, writing for radio, song lyrics and libretto, manga & graphic novel and writing for new media.
We’ve always believed that this literary cross-pollination is vital for the education of a
writer; it is not unusual for students come in working in one genre and leave working in another.
