Summer Alumni Workshop 2017
UBC Creative Writing is pleased to offer a multi-genre summer residency class open only to MFA alumni. It will be led by bestselling nonfiction writer, Carol Shaben. We plan to offer this five-day, non-credit workshop during the first week of the summer residency, from July 10-14.
This multi-genre class will not only include workshopping, but will also aim to reinvigorate the writing practices of graduates who may have fallen out of the habit of writing, and get you inspired and back to work. Faculty guest speakers will also appear. Additionally, registration in this class entitles participants to attend our panels during the summer residency, as well as all evening readings, screenings, and social events.
Special Offer: Alumni workshop plus the one-day Practice, Purpose, Passion PD workshop (July 9th), $600 (an $80 savings). Offer expires at midnight on June 2nd, 2017.
*note: if you have already signed up for Practice, Purpose, Passion, there is an option to sign up for the workshop at a reduced rate which reflects this.
